Born in the beach town of Máncora in 2020, BENDITODELPERÚ was created with a mission to empower Peruvian craftsmanship and celebrate the rich heritage of our artisans. Our entire supply chain is proudly rooted in Peru—from the organic cotton we source from the fields of Lambayeque to the artisanal printing and manufacturing in our Lima showroom.
At BENDITODELPERÚ, we believe in the power of conscious creation. By showcasing the positive impact of our work, we aim to honor the traditions of Peruvian craftsmanship while embracing sustainability and local talent.
We use Organic Cotton to create products in a way that reduces water and toxic chemical use. This improves life conditions for Peruvian Farmers and brings the opportunity to have a formal job.
Unlike conventional cotton, organic cotton is grown in soil free of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and defoliants. The organic standards do not allow the use of GMOS. Peru has a ban on GMO seeds, which reduces the risk of contamination that exists in other cotton producing countries.
Furthermore, the fact that our cotton is handpicked is a benefit, as it reduces the environmental impact and improves the quality of the product. Our TSHIRTS are GOTs Certified, meaning safe working conditions, no discrimination and no child labour.
