VISITING VASTO GALLERY

Barcelona has a way of pulling you in — with its light, its layers, and its quiet corners of creativity. On our last trip, we made a stop at a space that’s been on our radar for a while: Vasto Gallery, nestled in the ever-evolving neighborhood of Poblenou.
Once an industrial hub, Poblenou has transformed into one of the city’s most exciting creative districts — a place where warehouses turn into studios, and art spills out onto the streets. Vasto fits right into this landscape, but also manages to stand apart.
Founded by Carmen Riestra, Vasto is more than a gallery. It’s a living space for ideas — raw, welcoming, and full of light. Carmen, who brings a sharp eye and genuine passion for contemporary art, has built something truly special here: a space where exhibitions feel like conversations, and where you instantly feel part of something.
And if the space looks familiar — it should.
You might recognize Vasto’s signature textures and tones from some of our recent photoshoots. It’s one of those places where Bendito’s visual language just makes sense. The soft Peruvian cotton, the concrete walls, the gentle morning light — it all clicked.
Being there in person only deepened our connection. From the thoughtful curation to Carmen’s quiet strength behind it all, Vasto is a place that reminds us why we love blending fashion, art, and story.
Barcelona, you keep inspiring us.
