CASA DALÍ, CADAQUÉS
Dele
Last spring, we set out on a road trip to Cadaqués—a long-awaited destination on my travel bucket list. This trip was especially meaningful because I wasn't going alone; this time, my sister Massiel, my partner at BENDITODELPERÚ, joined me. She was visiting for our birthdays and took on the adventure of exploring this magical city with me to gather some creative inspiration.
One of the highlights of Cadaqués is the Casa Dalí in the nearby fishing village of Portlligat. This unique, immersive museum is dedicated to the life and work of the legendary surrealist artist Salvador Dalí. It’s the only stable home Dalí ever had, serving as both his sanctuary and a creative laboratory for his most imaginative experiments.
During our stay, I found a few must-visit spots. RE MEI, a charming, family-run restaurant, served as a cozy spot for local flavors. Just across the Sortell bridge, I discovered an ideal place to unwind—a perfect spot for a refreshing swim and a quiet afternoon of reading. And don’t miss stopping by BATALLA before leaving this beautiful town.
